Crash west of Dover shuts down road, police investigating

DOVER, Del. – Delaware State Police are currently on scene of a serious crash west of Dover.

We’re told the crash happened just before 3:30 p.m., at the intersection of Forrest Avenue and Nault Road. As a result, Forrest Avenue is closed at the intersection, with emergency response vehicles on scene. Motorists are urged to seek alternate routes of travel.

Officials say the road closure is expected to be lengthy. There is no estimated reopening time.
