REHOBOTH, Del. – Some upsetting news from CAMP Rehoboth, for the third year in a row, they had to cancel their annual block party which was set to take place Sunday from 11 to 5 p.m. This year would have made their 6th annual block party. We’re told, last year they had to cancel the party due to COVID-19, and the year before they canceled due to inclement weather.

The block party brings together members of the organizations, and community members in light of National Coming out Day on October 11th. The purpose of the party is to honor all who have come out as members of or as allies for the LGBTQ community, showcase small businesses, educate, and just enjoy the end of the summer.

Although they say it was a pity to have to cancel, they know they’ll have more CAMP Rehoboth events in the future.
