Walktober event set to get people moving
LOWER SHORE, Md. – The Lower Eastern Shore’s health departments are working together to get people moving this fall. Residents are invited to go for a walk or participate in any type of physical activity that they enjoy in October.
The initiative is called “Walktober” and we’re told residents are able to walk 45 identified routes and trails, or even choose their own path. All participants are asked to take a photo of themselves being active and submit them for a chance at a grand prize.
We’re told residents are encouraged to register for the lower shore walking tour at Eventbrite.
