Somerset Co. Schools adopt universal masking policy following General Assembly vote

WESTOVER, Md. – Somerset County Public Schools are adopting the State Board of Education’s universal mask mandate for all Maryland public schools.

This new regulation is enforceable immediately, and supersedes the mask-optional policy passed on September 2nd by the Somerset Board of Education.

Starting Wednesday, September 15th, all students, staff, and outside visitors are required to wear masks while inside school buildings.
