Somerset Co. Health Department announces October COVID-19 vaccine schedule

WESTOVER, Md. – The Somerset County Health Department has announced its COVID-19 vaccination schedule for the month of October.

We’re told vaccinations will be offered every Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. All vaccines will be given at Somerset MAC Inc., located at 8928 Sign Post Road, Suite 3, Westover.

These events will be walk-in with no appointment necessary. It is open to individuals 18 and older, with Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines available.

At this time, the health department is only offering third doses of Moderna to immunocompromised individuals. The CDC does not recommend an additional dose for those who received Johnson & Johnson at this time.
