Rally brings hundreds of supporters pulling for ‘Red’ Ryan

MILTON, Del. – On Sunday, community members packed Revelation Beer Garden at Hudson fields for the Rally for Red fundraiser. Within the first hour, about a thousand people showed up to support Ryan Ennis who was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic lung cancer.

We’re told Ennis is an influential community member, so lots of folks wanted to help out. The day was filled with food, games,  vendors, live music, and beer.
Proceeds from the event went towards Ennis and his family.

Ennis and other community members tell us, the turnout was overwhelming. A family friend, Adriana Kania 47 ABC, “It’s amazing the community came out to support him like this, it’s a little heavy on my heart but it’s amazing.” She adds, “Anything that we can do to help, or anything that I can do to support them is what we want to be able to do.”

Meanwhile, Ennis tells he’s he was overwhelmed with the amount of love and support he received. He says, “This is insane, it felt so crazy to be up there and to be able to kind of witness this and be part of this and unite the community again.” Ennis adds, “This just helps other people that are going through hard times just to gather the motivation and they need to continue to keep going and pressing forward because, we are always just one step away from that miracle happening, you just have to believe.”
