Police: Investigation leads to child pornography charges for Parsonsburg man

PARSONSBURG, Md. – Maryland State Police arrested a Parsonsburg man Wednesday evening after an investigation led to the discovery of evidence of distribution of child pornography.

We’re told 48-year-old Mark Dewitt is charged with 14 counts of distribution of child pornography following an investigation that began in May of this year. Police served a search warrant at Dewitt’s residence on Wednesday and subsequently took him into custody.

Dewitt is currently being held without bond.
