One injured in Dover shooting, police investigating
DOVER, Del. – An early morning shooting left one injured in Dover this weekend.
We’re told just before 3 a.m. Sunday, Dover Police responded to Katrina Way in the Cannon Mills development for a reported shooting. Officers could not find any victims or damage in the area at the time, but a say a short time later a 21-year-old man was taken by private vehicle to the Bayhealth Kent Campus with a graze wound to his foot from gunfire. The driver alleged that he was at the Wawa on Forrest Avenue when unknown suspects fired multiple times at his vehicle.
