Local 14-year-old guitarist playing with Bret Michaels at OC Bike Week

OCEAN CITY, Md. – One local teenager is making a name for himself and playing music with some big artists.

Gavin Brink is a 14-year-old from the Ocean City area who has been playing guitar for years now. But recently, he got an offer to play with not only one famous group, but two.

On Sunday he’ll play with Steel Panther and then on September 17th Gavin will head to Bike Week to play on stage with Bret Michaels.

For Gavin, it’s a dream come true. And for his dad Jeremy, he says it’s incredible to see his son get to do this.

“I remember when I first heard a poison song and I heard CC Deville’s guitar solo and it was like a mind opening thing that, I had just never heard anyone play guitar like that,” Gavin said.

“I couldn’t be more proud, it’s absolutely the most amazing feeling to see him kind of pick up where I left off and then just go miles further,” his dad, Jeremy, added.
