MARYLAND – The Coalition for Justice for Anton Black is hosting a day of remembrance to not only honor his life, but demand justice for his murder. Black was killed in police custody after he suffered heart issues during an arrest in Caroline County back in 2018.

We’re told Thursday, September 30th at 4 p.m., the coalition is meeting in Baltimore, MD before Anton’s law takes affect on October 1st. The law will make investigations into police misconduct more transparent to the public.

Family and coalition members say they’ll be discussing that policy change, and how to make sure this never happens to another family.
