Arrest made in domestic-related shooting in Dover

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police have arrested a suspect wanted in connection to a domestic-related shooting that took place late last month.

The shooting occurred just before 10 a.m. on August 25th, on Fiddlers Green in Dover. Police received calls from 21-year-old Gabrielle Clark and a male subject, identified as Clark’s father, at the residence regarding a domestic-related matter. During the call, multiple gunshots were heard.

It was learned that Clark shot multiple rounds, hitting her father’s vehicle, before fleeing in a silver Nissan Versa with Texas registration.

Clark was located and arrested Thursday morning at an apartment in Columbia, South Carolina. The U.S. Marshals First State Fugitive Task Force was assisted by the Carolinas Regional Task Force in this arrest.

Clark is currently being held at the Alvis S. Glen Detention Center pending extradition to Delaware.
