Wedding venue taking things day by day as COVID-19 mandates could change

DELMAR, Md.- A wedding venue said when it comes to future operations they’re leaving the question of mask wearing up to the bride and groom.

The owner and operator of Kylan Barn, in Delmar, said as of right now they’re giving them that choice because weddings are private events.

That also means wedding guests can decide what their comfortable with.

He added that going forward though, if they’re told mask requirements are changing, then their rules will change.

“We just kind of moving forward until they tell us, what they tell us,” Kyle Hughes, the owner, said.

“If mask mandates come back, we’ll just kind of deal with it, but I do still see there is some worrisome there but a lot of people are kind of picking and choosing if they want to come,” Hughes said.

Kyle Hughes, the owner of Kylan Barn, said when it comes to people being vaccinated he doesn’t feel it’s his responsibility to have to ask for vaccinations.

Adding Kylan Barn has tons of room as an inside-outside venue, so when it comes to spacing it won’t be an issue if mandates do change.
