Police: Salisbury woman arrested for maintaining drug house
SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury woman is behind bars after it was discovered that she was reportedly maintaining her residence as a drug house.
We’re told the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office received several complaints about drug activity at a residence in the 900 block of Russell Avenue in Salisbury. A search and seizure warrant was obtained for the residence and executed on August 13th by the Salisbury Police Department Tactical Team.
A search of the residence led to the discovery of an amount of cocaine indicative of the street level sale and trade of controlled dangerous substances. Also found inside the residence was packaging material, digital scales, and a plethora of CDS-related paraphernalia used to distribute and manufacture crack cocaine.
The resident, 42-year-old Dana Chamberlin, was subsequently taken into custody and charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of cocaine, maintaining a common nuisance distribution narcotic, maintaining common nuisance administer narcotic, manufacturing equipment, and possession of ammunition by a prohibited person.
Chamberlin was held without bond.
