One week away from the return of the annual crab derby


CRISFIELD, Md. – It’s one week until Crisfield’s annual Crab derby, and the town of Crisfield says they’re excited to bring it back. The 72nd Crisfield National Hard Crab derby returns labor day weekend after taking a year off.

The crab themed festival that includes crab races, cooking and picking contests, carnival rides, crafts and much more. We’re told the festival begins Thursday September 2nd, with the Miss Crustacean Pageant.

Following that, the weekend will be packed with free, fun,  events with a $3 admission fee on Saturday, September 3rd.
