Henlopen Football Preview: Indian River

DAGSBORO, Del. – Indian River finished 3-4 in the fall 2020 season, but they had a 3-1 record against teams in the new Class 1A, the division they will be competing in this upcoming campaign. We expect a very competitive season in this fall.

Seventh year coach Phillip Townsend has a large group of returning players from a team that came just short of its first winning season since 2013.

They play a tough Bayside team to start the year, hosting Decatur on September 10.
