UPDATE: Missing Dover man located

8/31 UPDATE: Police say Angelo Lepore has been located safely in Baltimore, MD. The Gold Alert is canceled.

DOVER, Del. – A Gold Alert has been issued for a missing elderly man in Dover.

We’re told 88-year-old Angelo Lepore was last seen in the parking lot of Bayhealth Hospital Kent Campus on Sunday afternoon around 4:10 p.m. after taking his spouse to the hospital for an injury. Lepore was last seen driving a silver 2007 Pontiac Torrent with Delaware registration PC6499.

Police say Lepore was last seen wearing a printed green short sleeve shirt, dark pants, black dress shoes, and a black baseball cap with an American flag logo. He is 5’6″, approximately 220 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.

Lepore suffers from dementia and diabetes and there is a concern for his wellbeing.
