Dover shooting injures one, police investigating

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating a shooting that injured a man Sunday night.

We’re told the incident happened just after 10:30 p.m., in the parking lot of White Oak Apartments. When officers arrived on scene, they found the 28-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the side of his head. A witness told police that she was driving away from the apartment complex when a suspect began firing at the car, hitting the male passenger.

The victim was taken to Bayhealth Kent Campus for treatment of his injury and is currently in stable condition.
