Dover Police Department receives nearly $60K in grants, private donation

DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department was given almost $60,000 in grants and a private donation this week.

We’re told they first received almost $50,000 in grants to be used to support law enforcement services across Dover. Then, Dr. Joel Halpern generously surprised the department with a check for $10,000 to be put toward the department’s K-9 unit.
