Antares rocket has successful launch

WALLOPS ISLAND, Va.– Tuesday in Wallops Island the Antares Rocket had a successful launch.

The rocket sent supplies to the international space station to help with research in a few different areas.

Scientists will be looking at 3-D printing with dust, and studying muscle loss and how slime mold grows.

The space vessel that the rocket is carrying is also equipped with a heat shield system that researchers at the University of Kentucky are studying.
