Traffic stop leads to recovery of stolen vehicle in Hebron
HEBRON, Md. – An early morning traffic stop led to the recovery of a stolen vehicle in Wicomico County on Friday.
Just before 4 a.m., a deputy stopped a vehicle after observing the driver driving very slow and erratically on Ocean Gateway. During the encounter, the deputy discovered that the vehicle, being driven by 33-year-old Jamee Boswell, had been reported stolen to the Georgetown, DE Police Department.
Boswell reportedly told the deputy that she had swapped another individual $100 worth of crack cocaine for use of the vehicle.
It was also discovered that Boswell’s privilege to drive had been both suspended and revoked by the state of Maryland. She was subsequently arrested and later released on a $10,000 unsecured bond.
