** A Tropical Storm Warning is now in effect for Delmarva Thursday – Friday morning **

Tonight will be mostly clear and muggy with temperatures in the low to mid 70s.

Elsa will be pushing onto Delmarva on Thursday.  Right now the forecast is for increasing clouds through the day with widely scattered storms, especially during the afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the mid and upper 80s. There’s a chance the storms could be severe with heavy rain and perhaps isolated tornadoes. Winds could gust above 40 mph at the coast. Be sure to stay tuned for the latest. Friday, partly sunny skies are expected with a chance for afternoon and evening storms as a cold front crosses the area. Highs will be in the upper 80s.

Saturday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Sunday will also be sunny with highs in the mid to upper 80s. There is the chance for storms late.

Monday will be partly to mostly sunny with a chance for scattered storms. Highs will be in the upper 80s. Highs climb into the low 90s on Tuesday with a chance for isolated PM storms.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and hot with highs around 90.
