Tuesday looks sunny and hot with highs in the low 90s. Wednesday will also be sunny with highs in the low to mid 90s. Heat index values could approach 100° in spots.

Elsa’s impacts will be closest to Delmarva on Thursday. Right now the forecast is for partly sunny skies with widely scattered storms, especially later in the day. The timing and amount of rain, plus the exact impacts expected for our area are still uncertain, so be sure to stay tuned. Friday, storms are possible with highs in the upper 80s under partly sunny skies.

Saturday and Sunday will be in the upper 80s to near 90° under mostly sunny skies and isolated storms.

Monday looks mostly sunny with a chance for afternoon thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 80s.
