Sussex Co. seniors awarded scholarships from TidalHealth

SUSSEX CO., Md. – Four high school seniors were awarded a scholarship as they push toward careers on the front line.

Over the weekend, TidalHealth congratulated four Sussex County seniors Taylor Willey, Na’Kayla Smith, Heavyn Savage, and Kaegen Brittingham for all being selected to receive scholarships from the hospital.

We’re told Taylor, the recipient of the Diversity in Healthcare Scholarship, will be pursuing a career in physical medicine. Na’Kayla, the recipient of the Judith Tobin Healthcare Scholarship, will be working toward a career as a NICU nurse. Heavyn, who received the Healthcare Career Scholarship, aspires to be a pediatrician, and Kaegen, who received the Jill Hickman Nursing Scholarship, hopes to pursue a career as a nurse anesthetist.
