OC Police encourage safe bike riding with free lights

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Officers in Ocean City just completed a project in the community to encourage safe bike riding.

Over the weekend, Ocean City Police posted on Facebook that their officers and city council members had given out 72 bicycle lights to residents and visitors in the mid-town area, all for free. They say this was a mission to serve the community and keep bikers and drivers safe.

We’re told they are still handing them out, and if you want one all you have to do is stop by the police department.
