Local girl donates to Humane Society for 7th birthday

SALISBURY, Md. – Instead of a 7-year-old girl asking for gifts for her birthday, she decided to give one.

On Thursday, the Wicomico Humane Society thanked Paige for gathering donations for the shelter for her birthday. Paige’s 7th birthday was last week and instead of a party or receiving tons of gifts, she chose to donate to animals in need.

In the picture, you can see she donated things like cat and dog food, toys, treats, and more. On Facebook, the shelter said, “We are so grateful for kids like you.”
