Fairgoers talk about favorite memories, traditions as the 2021 Delaware State Fair kicks off

HARRINGTON, Del.- While it is only day one of the Delaware State Fair, there’s so much that people can look forward to.

There’s plenty of rides, games, food, and even animals to enjoy.

While the pandemic changed plans for many last year and some did not get to come out and enjoy some of the activities, 47ABC spoke with people who come to work at the fair and told us they are excited to be here making more memories

“Honestly, just being here with my family, we are working so it’s always fun to just be with them and make some money while we are doing it,” Colin Glushakow, a worker at the fair, said.

“Just enjoying family time, it’s a good time with family especially with COVID last year you really didn’t get to have much family time so it’s just enjoying it watching my nephews and them really getting on the rides,” Dalton Ringstaff, a worker at the fair, said.
