Delaware State Fair returns, one week away

HARRINGTON, DE,- Grab your sunglasses, sunscreen, and your water bottles because the Delaware State Fair is back and organizers say better than ever.

You can expect to see many of your favorite carnival rides, racing pigs, a dog show,  and over 75 food trucks to choose from.

Most changes were made to the grand stand, with restricted seating to continue to encourage social distancing.

Organizers say it takes many hands to make the fair go-on and look forward to the community enjoying it another year. “I know the state as well in totality is celebrating a wonderful return for tourism. Beaches are busy, live events look like they’re doing extremely well, so we’re excited,” said Assistant General Manager Danny Aguilar.

“I know most of the folks are ready to celebrate life, celebrate summer, and most certainly celebrate the 2021 Delaware State Fair.”

Although its not required, organizers urge those who aren’t fully vaccinated to wear a mask.
