DE state troopers ask for help with BACKpack campaign

DELAWARE – State police are asking for help with donations for operation troopers have your BACKpack.

Police tell us, this community outreach program is used to assist elementary school-aged children in need with school supplies. We’re told donations can be taken to all Delaware state police federal credit union locations or any troop statewide.

They say they’re looking for items such as, pencils, notebooks, crayons, tissue boxes, hand sanitizer and much more. Donations will be collected from now until Monday, August 30th.
