Two teens injured in early morning Cambridge shooting

CAMBRIDGE, Md. –

Cambridge Police are searching for at least one shooting suspect Wednesday. Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Greenwood Avenue and Camelia Street just after midnight. Police say they found two separate shooting victims but believe the actual incident happened in the 600 block of Greenwood Avenue.

A 17-year-old boy was found in the 900 block of Camelia Street with a gunshot wound to the left thigh. He’s been flown to Shock Trauma for treatment. A 14-year-old boy was found in the 500 block of Greenwood Avenue with a gunshot wound to the leg. He has since been treated and released from the hospital.

Police say they recovered several bullet casings on the scene and are currently checking surveillance video in the area to identify the suspect or suspects.
