TidalHealth workers honored during celebration for their efforts

SALISBURY, Md.- In Salisbury, a celebration was put on at TidalHealth Friday afternoon to honor all the hard work of the health care workers.

Wicomico County Councilman, Bill McCain, invited the community to give a personal thank you to these workers.

He said they’ve gone above and beyond during COVID-19.

So, with the help from the community he wanted to honor their hard work and they did just that with balloons, signs, and cheers.

“What they’ve done for our community over the past year and a half is phenomenal and their planning in the beginning, healthcare they provided, the compassion they have provided, and you know hopefully we are on the back side of this,” Bill McCain, Wicomico County Councilman, said.

Councilman McCain said hopefully when the health care workers saw how many people attended they feel appreciated for their hard work during these uncertain times.
