Shooting leaves one seriously injured in Dover

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating a shooting that seriously injured a man Monday night.

At around 10:15 p.m., officers responded to the area of Garfield Drive and Frear Drive for a report of shots fired. On arrival, they found the 25-year-old male victim lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to Kent General Hospital where he underwent surgery for his injuries.
