SALISBURY, MD.- One event is making a big boom back into the community, just in time for the 4th of July.

The Red, White, & Boom activities are back this weekend and free for all to enjoy.

We’re told the event will be more simple this year as there won’t be bouncy houses or the parade.

Yet, there will be plenty of food trucks available.

Despite restrictions being lifted, they’re still taking precautions with sanitizing sites.

Organizers say they’re happy to be back and urge the community to come out with some blankets and chairs, ready to enjoy a fun-filled show. “It actually amazing to be back into the community and to have these events and having the community be brought back out. Everybody’s looking forward to getting outside,” said Co-Chair Brian Nelson.

“I think it’s great way and opportunity to maybe get out for the first time for some people and get back to a sense of normalcy on things,” said Chair of Red White & Boom Ryan Weitzel.

Organizers also want to remind you to keep your furry friends at home.

The show will be at the James Bennett High School stadium and the show will be begin Sunday at 9:15p.m.
