Parkside High student honored for performance at state track meet

SALISBURY, Md. – One of Parkside High School’s very own is being honored for her amazing performance at a statewide track meet over the weekend.

On Facebook, Parkside High posted that Amanda Ballard won four gold medals at the Maryland State 2A Track and Field Championship. Amanda ranked gold in the 100 hurdles, which ranked her in the best time in the entire state regardless of school size and another school record.

She also got gold with the 4 by 100 relay, and silvers in the 100 and long jump.
