New guidance for mask wearing at the Delaware State Fair
HARRINGTON, De. – With the annual Delaware State Fair just a little over a month away, new guidance is coming in from fair organizers on what this year will look like amid the pandemic.
On Tuesday, organizers announced masks will not be required anywhere on fair grounds only for those who are fully vaccinated. On the other hand, following CDC guidelines, those who are unvaccinated are being asked to continue mask wearing.
The fair will also join the state’s incentive program, “DE Wins!,” to encourage fairgoers to get their shot. Those who enter their submissions and are fully vaccinated will be eligible to win free admission passes or concert tickets.
To enter, go to the fair website here. Submissions can be made until June 28th and winners will be chosen June 29th, then announced on the 30th.
