CAMBRIDGE, MD. – In Cambridge, one staple restaurant is re-opening, but with a twist.

Jimmie and Sooks has served Dorchester County for over 12 years and is coming back with new members added to management.

Owners say, the scratch kitchen is rooted in family, love, and heart-felt home cooking.

Although the pandemic may have shut its doors, we’re told the new partnership not only saved the restaurant, but brought two cousins together continuing the legacy their grandmothers started.

“Actually some thing we both learned from our grandmothers is that we’re not afraid to roll up our sleeves, get in the trenches, and work hard,” said Owner Tammy Lynndee.

“So I’d have to say thank you mom mom. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do, and you brought me the solution. So thank you and we will continue to making your great food magic happen,” said Owner Amanda Bramble.

Owners also tell customers not to worry, as their famous Ahi Tuna Salad will be back on the menu.

The grand re-opening of Jimmie and Sooks is set for June 9th for reservation only. Walk in service begins June 16th.
