Greenwood bar fire ruled arson
GREENWOOD, Del. – Delaware Fire Marshals say a fire that heavily damaged a Greenwood bar last month has been ruled arson.
The fire was reported shortly after 3 a.m. on May 18th, at the Pit Stop Bar and Grill in the first block of West Market Street. Through a lengthy investigation, state fire investigators have determined that the fire was intentionally started.
Fire damage has been estimated at $500,000. A firefighter was taken to the hospital from the scene for minor injuries.
