Police investigating serious crash in Milford

MILFORD, Del. – Delaware State Police are currently investigating a serious crash that happened early Sunday afternoon, which left two people in critical condition.

On Sunday around 2 p.m., police say they responded to reports of a stolen Toyota Corolla driving on Route 113.

Police tells us the Toyota was apparently driving at extremely fast speeds when the car failed to stop at a red light then hit a GMC car on the left front side causing that car to hit a pole.

We’re told the Toyota kept driving and eventually four people got out of the car then fled on foot.

Police tell us that the driver of the GMC and three other passengers were not hurt but two children were transported to the nearest hospital in serious condition.

This crash is currently under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact Delaware State police.
