Officials recognize Salisbury man’s efforts to clean up the city
SALISBURY, Md. – The City of Salisbury is thanking local resident Craig Faunce for completing his mission of “150 day commitment to cleaning up the city.”
Faunce started the mission of cleaning the city when he moved here in 2020 and would just pick up trash when he saw some. That mission grew to incorporate a team of volunteers who were inspired by his passion to beautify the area they lived in. After a while, that team was called “Clean Up Salisbury”, and that’s when the 150 day challenge was made. They completed that challenge on Monday.
During his first month alone, Faunce and his team collected 200 bags of trash, covering the territory between Fruitland and the Route 13 mural.
