OC Police asking for help identifying victim and suspect in recent assault

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Ocean City Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the victim and suspect from an assault that took place earlier this month.

We’re told the assault took place at around 1:40 a.m. on Sunday, May 16th, in the area of 14th and 15th Street on the Boardwalk. The incident was reportedly captured on City Watch.

The victim is described as a male, wearing a bright purple hat, dark-colored jacket, gray sweatpants, with white and black shoes. The suspect is described as a man wearing a black short sleeve shirt with white lettering on the back, black pants, and dark-colored shoes. Police say the suspect was seen with a group of 4 to 5 other individuals, and one of the individuals was seen taking a cell phone video of the assault.
