Local group honors teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week

SALISBURY, Md. – One group is making an effort to spread kindness and honor teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week.

On Facebook, Grace Murdock with Kind SBY posted some pictures showing their effort to celebrate teachers in the area and all the work they do to educate children. Along with sponsors and donors, Kind SBY was able to provide these “Giving Bags”, which have handwritten notes, books, school supplies, candy, and more.

Murdock says the bags were given to Wicomico County Teacher of the Year finalists. She also said she congratulates all educators for surviving this past year.
