Lawmakers form LGBTQ+ caucus
DELAWARE,- Lawmakers are aiming to provide more support for the LGBTQ community, forming their own caucus.
The caucus includes bipartisan legislators that met for the first time last week, with a focus on bringing more awareness to LGBTQ issues.
Sen. Sarah McBride is a co-chair and says that listening to the concerns of the community will be the main goal.
Other areas of focus include LGBTQ education in public schools, health care access, and greater protections in terms of discrimination.
