Gov. Hogan: Md. surpasses 6 million COVID vaccinations, positivity rate under 2%

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Governor Larry Hogan announced on Thursday that Maryland has now surpassed 6 million total COVID-19 vaccinations.

He says that 69.1% of adults, with 88.1% of seniors have received at least one dose.

In addition, the state’s key COVID-19 metrics are continuing to drop. Hospitalizations have dropped below 400 for the first time since October 2020. The state’s case rate has dropped below 5 per 100,000, which is its lowest level since April 2020. The statewide positivity rate has dropped to a new low of 1.84%.
