Felton man arrested on out of state fugitive warrant
FELTON, Del. — Felton Police say they’ve arrested a 37-year-old Felton man, on an Out of State Fugitive Warrant on Saturday.
Police say they were contacted by Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Office who requested a warrant service be conducted on Raymond F. Burris. Officials say they observed Burris operating his vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, taking him into custody without incident.
The 37-year-old was wanted out of Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Office for sex offense 4th degree; Assault 2nd degree, Child Abuse 2nd degree and Sex Abuse of a Minor, which are all felony charges. He was processed at Felton PD, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court #7 and issued a $50,000 Cash Bail.
Burris was unable to post bail and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institute/Department of Corrections awaiting extradition to Maryland.
