Cpl. Keith Heacook to be laid to rest on Monday


SALISBURY, Md. – The late Delmar Corporal Keith Heacook will be laid to rest in Salisbury on Monday.

Officials say he will be transported from Short Funeral Home in Delmar to Emmanuel Wesleyan Church in Salisbury starting at 8:45 in the morning. A public viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until noon with the service following immediately after.

Road closures are expected in the area, and we’re told Beaglin Park Drive between Old Ocean City Road and Route 50 was set to close at 4 a.m. on Monday. Heavy traffic is expected in the area, and drivers are cautioned to take their time and remain patient.
