3rd Friday to bring ‘kindness’ project to Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – For the month of May’s 3rd Friday tradition in Salisbury, Kind SBY is bringing a new project to the city. Salisbury was named the First World Kindness USA city. Now a new combination project, is hoping to bring a community unity activity.

A banner will be hung on St. Peter Street Wall on 3rd Friday, where people can write and draw about how they’ve emerged during this year, or how they’re feeling through the COVID pandemic. We’re told this is all in the efforts to to unify the community. Grace Murdock, Secretary of Kindness SBY says, “show them that everyone matters in our community who draws on this banner and who puts an inspiration message on each of the rocks. It is to let people know that we are in this together and we want to bond together through this banner.”

3rd Friday is next Friday, May 21st from 5 to 8 p.m.You can find more information about their efforts by clicking here.
