Truck crashes into ambulance in Rehoboth

REHOBOTH, Del.– Police are investigating an accident involving a Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Department ambulance.

Police say around 10 a.m. on Saturday morning a 1998 Ford F-150 hit an ambulance.

The driver of the F-150 refused medical treatment on scene.

The driver of the ambulance was taken to the hospital for minor injuries and was later released.

Police also say there was a patient in the back of the ambulance and was also taken to the hospital for non life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
