Springfest returns to Ocean City for 30th year

1280 Springfest 30th

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Ocean City is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its Springfest Arts and Crafts Festival following the cancellation of the 2020 event due to the coronavirus.

This year’s event will be held May 6th through 9th, in the Inlet Lot at the south end of the OC Boardwalk, and will feature a diverse variety of live outdoor musical entertainment all day long for four days. Visitors should also bring their appetite, as the event includes delicious offerings from famous Eastern Shore delicacies to a wide assortment of food, beer, and wine. Springfest is one of the top Arts and Crafts show in the United States and features more than 250 vendors selling arts and crafts.

Springfest is fun for people of all ages, and admission to the event is free for all four days, including entertainment. The Coastal Highway Beach Bus will be operating for $3 all day, allowing visitors to take advantage of the town’s Park & Ride on Route 50 in West Ocean City. Bus services are every 20 minutes from 6:20 a.m. to 11:35 p.m.

This year’s event will be modified to follow state and local health guidelines, but we’re told it will still offer the traditional Springfest favorites. Face coverings and social distancing will be required for the event, and guests enjoying their food and beverages must be seated while doing so.

The event will run Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
