Governor Hogan pushes for H-2B visas

MARYLAND- Governor Larry Hogan is urging federal officials to make more H-2B visas available to help the seafood industry and seasonal employers.

After many restaurants in the seafood industry, and other businesses complained about not having enough workers their cries were heard and the governor is on board.

Since the pandemic, restaurants have had to endure numerous changes, loss of revenue, and loss of employees. However, now with restrictions being lifted, they say they need the help and H-2B’s could solve that. Governor Hogan is now advocating for officials to do something about it.
