Fire destroys Princess Anne home, now needing community support

PRINCESS ANNE, Md.- A Princess Anne family was left without a place to call home Tuesday evening.

We’re told Tina Johnson and her three daughters, ages 10, 14, and 17, and her boyfriend and his mother lost not only their home, but memories in this fire.

Now, a friend of Johnson wants to help the family get back on their feet.

So she created a Go Fund Me, in hopes community members will rally together to help this family during this tough time.

“I think one of the things that makes us all feel better is living in a community where people help take care of each other and so this is an opportunity to help take care of a family that has a very immediate need,” Carrie Samis , Main Street Princess Anne Manager and friend, said.

As for the conditions of the family,  we’re told they’re safe.

We’re told donations of clothing and other personal care items are needed.
