Car crash leaves one dead in Berlin

BERLIN, Md.– Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened early Saturday morning.

Police say a little after 2 a.m. troopers responded to a single car crash at westbound US 50 & Logtown Road.

The driver of the car was identified as 21-year-old Jasmine Alexis Dashiell of Salisbury.

Police say she drove off the road into the center median trees and was ejected.

Investigators are being helped by the Worcester County Sheriff’s Departmen, Berlin Fire & EMS and the Maryland State Highway Administration.
